Family owned Garden Centre & Tea Room Staffordshire
Because we love gardening as much as you do!
We are a local and friendly family owned garden centre with lots of fantastic homegrown plants and a great tea room for you to relax with our home baked cakes.
The vast majority of our plants we sell are grown on site by knowledgeable horticultural experts. We provide a wide range of products to cater for all your gardening needs. We love to pass on our knowledge to our customers so that they can make the right informed choices for their gardens. As a family business, customer service is our main priority. We would like every person who steps foot in our garden centre to be customers year after year.

There is a min order value of £45 and we are only delivering locally to Penkridge, Stafford, Cannock, Great Haywood and surrounding areas.
We have now opened the garden centre 5 days a week Wed- Sun 10am to 3pm with very few staff so we are very busy.

Corona Virus update!
There are guidelines on the government website to tell people they are ok as part of their exercise to take a stroll round a garden centre! In a perfect world this would be great normally but that is not going to help us and we will not be able to survive if people come and take a slot and not purchase anything.
This is all totally out of our comfort zone and control, we are learning new ways to adapt the business each day to keep on going, we have gone the extra mile trying to make the Garden Centre as safe as we can, we will all look forward to the time when we can all go back to normal.
We also will no longer be taking any deliveries until we have had a couple of weeks to open up correctly. We are aware there are vulnerable people out there that are not allowed out of their house so we will still try and provide some kind of delivery service for them only in due course..
As a Garden Centre May and June are our busiest months and those months take us through the rest of the year. We are trying to keep our staff in jobs and trying to keep the business going which is very hard work in the current climate with 50% of our business closed. To cut a long story short we are only just ticking over as a business we need your support to keep our business going or it will close. We can’t give time slots to people that are just wanting to browse and perhaps not really looking to purchase, financially we can’t do that. If you are coming to the garden centre please, please, make sure your coming to purchase and it helps if you know what you want. If we get too many people coming for a wonder to get out of the house we won’t survive and we would have to close anyway. We hope you understand.
The plants are what we need to sell so they don’t go to waste and we are conscious we need to provide this service for our loyal customers, so we are willing to put ourselves at risk and we have opened for you all. Please just treat us the same as your supermarket visit, you know what you need, you know what you are going for and you purchase on that basis.
We will have very strict guidelines which we have clearly set out in a video we have broadcast on our facebook page.
The rules are as follows:
- No children under 18
- No dogs
- No cash
- You must wear a face covering or mask
- You must sanitise your hands before entering or wear gloves
- You must stay 2 metres apart from customers and our staff and follow the guided areas
- If you want to know if we have something before you come to save a wasted journey or slot please email email@example.com or call the Garden Centre, as our staff will not be able to answer many questions when you visit because of social distancing, thank you
